3348 Peonies in a Vase, after Édouard Manet 60x80 2005— Iryna Malynovska

3348 Peonies in a Vase, after Édouard Manet — Iryna Malynovskais an original floral painting by Iryna Malynovska. Cream flowers and a deep red bloom unfold in a transparent vase against a dark background. The work belongs to her impressionist floral collection.

Bright petals stand out against the dark ground and draw the eye into the bouquet. The glass reveals the stems, while a flower in the foreground extends the still life.

Free brushwork gives the flowers a lively presence and invites a closer look at changes in colour and light. The painting can bring a poetic accent to a living room, study or reception area. It remains in the artist’s portfolio after its sale.
