7014 Sunflowers in a Vase 60x80 - 2010 — Iryna Malynovska

Sunflowers in a Vase is a floral painting by Iryna Malynovska. Yellow sunflowers radiate from a vase at the centre of the composition. The descriptive title identifies the visible subject and makes this work easy to find in the artist’s collection.

The floral subject gives space to petal shapes, colour contrasts and the movement of the bouquet. The eye moves between the more defined blooms and the lighter marks in the background.

This composition can add a painterly presence to a living room, bedroom or workspace. It will appeal to those who enjoy bouquets, gardens and the colours of nature. Its tones can complement a quiet interior or become a focal point.
